Leaf & Line: A Nature Walk + Art-Making Experience for Tweens and Teens

Step into the stillness of the trees and awaken your creative spirit. Leaf & Line is a soul-soothing afternoon designed for tweens and teens who could use a break from the noise.

We'll start with a walk led by local forest therapist, Kelly Parochetti of Balance and Thrive. Participants will experience a gentle, mindful walk—an invitation to slow down, notice, and connect with nature.

Each day, after the walk, we will gather with artist and Brighton Light House Co-Founder, Anna Oginsky, LLMSW, to explore an art prompt inspired by nature. Using materials like pens, markers, watercolor, and collage, participants will create expressive pieces. No art experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Whether it’s a swirl of watercolor inspired by the sky, a continuous line drawing of a row of trees, or a layered collage of textures, Leaf & Line encourages each participant to slow down and see both nature and self-expression with fresh eyes.

Join us for one, two, or three afternoons for a walk in the woods and some time creating!
