The Stitching Circle

  • Brighton Light House 142 Brighton Lake Road Brighton, MI USA (map)

The Stitching Circle is a gentle, come-as-you-are monthly gathering for anyone who finds comfort, clarity, or quiet joy in working with their hands.

Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, mend, or practice slow hand-stitching, you are welcome to join us.

While this is not a class, we are happy to provide a warm, beautiful space to sit together, work on our projects, and enjoy the simple rhythm of making in good company. Here we find that conversation flows naturally—sometimes lively, sometimes soft—and silence is always welcome too.

We gather around the idea that stitching can be grounding, regulating, and deeply human: a way to soothe the nervous system, share presence, and create something one small motion at a time. Bring whatever you’re working on, or simply come to be held by the warmth of the circle.

All levels welcome. No pressure. Just hands, thread, yarn, and connection.
